PADI ADVENTURE DIVER COURSE IN MALTA

The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI Instructor, and is designed so that you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course. The course builds on what you've learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.

The Adventures in Diving programme offers both the PADI Adventure Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certifications.

Completing any three adventure dives earns you your PADI Adventure Diver certification - a great way to build your dive skills and learn more about specific types of diving. Please note that this option does not include any additional depth qualifications.

Completing any three adventure dives, plus your Deep and Underwater Navigation adventure dives (5 dives in total), earns you your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, which allows you to safely dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres.

What do I need to start?

  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
  • Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for the PADI Junior Adventure Diver)
  • Medically fit to dive

What will I do?

Any three of the following adventure dives:

  • Delayed Surface Marker Buoy
  • Dive Against Debris
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Rescue Diver
  • Search and Recovery Diver
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • AWARE Fish Identification
  • Wreck Diver
  • Nitrox Diver
  • Underwater Navigator

How long will it take?

The three dives are normally spread over two days.

What is included?

  • PADI Adventures in Diving eLearning
  • 3 guided adventure dives
  • Full scuba equipment rental and gas fills
  • Certification costs
  • Road transport to the dive sites
  • Free hotel pick-up/drop-off in St Paul's Bay, Bugibba, Qawra and Xemxija

What next?

Once you have completed your Adventure Diver course, you can upgrade to the full PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification with just two more dives, including the Deep dive - unlocking dive sites to 30m across Malta.
