PADI DIVE AGAINST DEBRIS COURSE IN MALTA
Do you want to make a difference on every dive but not sure where to begin? Enrol on our PADI Dive Against Debris Specialty and gain the knowledge and skills to activate your inner citizen scientist. As Malta's first eco-dive centre, this course is close to our hearts.
You'll learn to complete Dive Against Debris surveys under the guidance of one of our PADI instructors and help keep Malta's dive sites healthier by removing debris.
Our team are passionate about making every dive a debris dive. Knowing how to pass on the knowledge we learn from debris dives is just as important as the dive itself. From taking photos of the trash to submitting surveys, we can influence governments and key policy makers to make a difference to the health of our ocean.
The Fun Part
The fun part about this course is that you can help the ocean become a cleaner place for us as divers and help save marine life. Gain a certification that will give you the confidence to be a torchbearer for the ocean.
Unsure if you want to commit to the full course but want to help remove debris during one of your dives? Not a problem - our dive team will happily bring along mesh bags on any dive to collect any trash we see.
A Dive Against Debris can also be completed on the Advanced Open Water course as one of the elective dives, which is a great way to give back to the environment while having fun.
