PADI DIVEMASTER COURSE IN MALTA
Are you interested in a career as a dive professional? Maybe you want to become an instructor one day, or become involved in marine science or ocean conservation? You might have a passion for inspiring others and sharing your love of diving, or maybe you just want to get out of the office for a few weeks, get fit and develop your skills.
The PADI Divemaster (DM) course is the first professional level in the PADI system. A Divemaster is someone who can take charge of diving activities and assist an instructor in the training of other divers. Skills circuits, rescue exercises, assisting Instructors on courses, dive site management and planning are some examples of how you will improve and hone your skills.
For some, the Divemaster course represents a valuable personal achievement. For others, this is the first step into a career as a professional diver, working your way up to becoming an Instructor and beyond.
Provided that you meet the prerequisite criteria, the course normally takes around 4 weeks. However, as all aspects of the course are performance-based, extra time should be allowed for additional training as required. There is no time limit on our course - the only way to become a good Divemaster is to practise. This course should not be taken lightly, as the aim is to produce a responsible and capable Divemaster.
